Bridge Classes


Welcome to the East Bay Community Bridge Center's information page for bridge classes. Our goal is to provide the new and advancing player with the very best educational programs and playing opportunities. Visit often, as we continually update this page with new offerings. The following is our current schedule of classes.

ACBL Beginning Bridge Part I:

Novice/Intermediate Lessons:

Mentoring Sessions:

These popular sessions, running about 2-hours, are non-competitive and are recommended for players who have completed the Club and Diamond series and are interested in improving their game. They are offered both during the day and the evening. The following is the current schedule (times are approximate):

  • Mondays:
    • The 1st Monday of each month, the Pro/Am game, F2F, 11am. Please contact Tom for details.
    • The 2nd and 4th Monday of each month, F2F, 11:30am.
    • The 3rd and 5th Monday of each month - NEW - The Fifth Chair, F2F, 11:30am. Please contact Sandi for details
  • Wednesdays, F2F, 11:30am

  • Fridays, F2F, 11:30am

Bridge with Finesse:

  • FRIDAY MORNING (Open to all): F2F, Lesson 10:00am Discussion of a practice hand which covers Bidding, Leading, Play of the hand and Defending

"Bridge with Finesse" offers a wonderful opportunity for those who are advancing players.The lesson begins at 10 AM and lasts about a half an hour. Since these are stand-alone lessons and are on-going throughout the year, you need not commit to a series. So, come whenever you can and bring your favorite partner along, too. 

$10/person/lesson/F2F at the club (Free, if you stay to play in the Friday 499er or Open game which begins at 11AM)
